KHEER

KHEER is a traditional and an ancient pudding which is the most common dessert in the days of festival. A dessert which is very famous in the STATES OF INDIA. It is made from the basic ingredients at home and also garnished with the healthy dry fruits. It is generally served as a dessert after meals.

KHEER is also known by other names at different states of INDIA like- PAYASAM , PAYASA AND KSHEERAM. It is also very famous in the regions of pakistan , BANGLADESH , NEPAL AND SRILANKA. Kheer is also very beneficial for health as it provides the sources of calcium and also low in cholesterol , it gives a cooling effect on the body which is very important generally in the summer season.

INGREDIENTS

  1. RICE
  2. MILK
  3. SUGAR
  4. GHEE
  5. CARDAMOM
  6. RAISINS
  7. BASMATI (OPTIONAL)

FOR GARNISHING-

  1. ALMONDS
  2. SAFFRON
  3. CASHEW
  4. PISTACHIO

RECIPE-

  1. TAKE A BOWL OF WATER AND PUT THE BASMATI IN IT AND LET THE BASMATI SOAK THE WATER OF THE BOWL.
  2. BY THE TIME TAKE A PAN AND HEAT 2/3 CUP OF MILK ALONGWITH RICE AT MEDIUM FLAME.
  3. STIR IT WELL AT MEDIUM FLAME UNTIL IT GETS A THICK CONSISTENCY.
  4. ONCE U GET A NORMAL THICK CONSISTENCY SLOWLY ADD THE (WATER SOAKED) BASMATI TO THE PAN.
  5. ADD SUGAR ACCORDING TO THE TASTE.
  6. TAKE A HALF CUP OF MILK AND ADD FEW SAFFRON PIECES AND MIX IT WELL.
  7. ADD THE SAFFRON MIXTURE TO THE PAN AND MIX THE SOLUTION FIRMLY , ADD SOME RAISINS TO THE MIXTURE AND MIX IT.
  8. LET IT COOK FOR SOME TIME AND BY THE TIME KEEP ON STIRRING IT WELL SO THAT IT GETS AN AMAZING CONSISTENCY.
  9. KHEER IS READY TO BE SERVED.
  10. GARNISH THE KHEER WITH FEW CHOPPED DRY FRUITS WHICH IS TOTALLY OPTIONAL.

BESAN KA HALWA

So today we are going to make something sweet i.e besan ka halwa which are dense, sweet confections and are originated in the middle east. Halwa is very popular sweet dish in the areas such as south asia, the balkans , north africa and many more.

Besan ka halwa is very beneficial, tasty and healthy as it contains many other healthy ingredients in it like nuts,almonds ,cashew, raisins and many more.

INGREDIENTS

  1. 1 CUP BESAN
  2. 1\2 CUP GHEE
  3. 1\2 – 3\4 CUP OF SUGAR
  4. 1\2 CUP OF SAFFRON MILK
  5. 1\3 TSP CARDAMON POWDER (optional)
  6. FEW ALMOMDS AND SLICED PISTACHIOS .
  7. 1-2 CUP OF MILK.

RECIPE.

  1. TAKE A PAN/ KADAI HEAT IT ON MEDIUM FLAME
  2. POUR THE GHEE ON PAN AND HEAT IT.
  3. ONCE THE GHEE IS HEATED ADD THE CUP OF BESAN TO IT.
  4. COOK THE MIXTURE AND KEEP STIRRING IT CONTINUOUSLY.
  5. COOK IT FOR ABOUT 20-25 MINS ON MEDIUM FLAME UNTIL IT TURNS OUT TO BE GOLDEN BROWN.
  6. NOW ADD 2 CUP OF MILK AND STIR WELL KEEP STIRRING CONTINUOUSLY, UNTIL THE BESAN ABSORBS ALL THE MILK WITHOUT FORMING LUMPS, COOK UNTIL THE MIXTURE SEPARATES THE PAN.
  7. THEN ADD 1/2 CUP OF SUGAR AND TBSP SAFFRON MILK AND ,MIX IT WELL UNTIL SUGAR DISSOLVES COMPLETELY AND SEPARATES THE PAN.
  8. PLACE THE HALWA IN A BOWL GARNISH IT WITH ALMONDS, RESINS AND PISTACHIOS.
  9. AND YOUR HALWA IS READY TO SERVE.

FRENCH FRIES

FRENCH FRIES, a most liked evening snack, It is a soft or sometimes crispy, fries are we can says chips, it is served hot and also eaten as a evening, morning or night meal at restaurant , pubs or bars. they are salty in taste and are generally served with the stuffs like tomato ketchup, chili sauce,mayonnaise or other local specialties. Fries is also a heavy meal if served with cheese and extra proteins or chili cheese fries. These fries or chips are generally made up of sweet potatoes.

INGREDIENTS

  1. POTATOES
  2. VEGETABLE OIL
  3. SOYABEAN OIL
  4. NATURAL BEEF FLAVOR (WHEAT\MILK DERIVATIVES)
  5. CITRIC ACID
  6. SODIUM ACID
  7. SALT

RECIPE

  1. TAKE 3-4 POTATOES
  2. CHOP THEM INTO THE SIZE U WANT THE FRENCH FRIES TO BE. ONCE UR DONE WITH THE CHOPPING OF POTATOES TRANSFER THEM INTO A BOWL, AND KEEP IT IN FRIDGE FOR ABOUT 30 MINS.
  3. DRY THE CHOPPED POTATOES WITH THE HELP OF NAPKIN
  4. ONCE THEY ARE DRAINED PUT THEM, INTO A NAPKIN FOR 5 MINS.
  5. HEAT THE PAN FULL OF OIL AT MEDIUM FLAME.
  6. PUT THE FRENCH FRIES ACCORDINGLY AND GIVE IT A DEEP TRY.
  7. FRY THEM UNTIL IT IS GOLDEN BROWN IN COLOR
  8. NOW YOUR FRENCH FRIES ARE READY TO BE SERVED .
  9. SERVE THEM WITH YOUR FAVOURITE COMBO.

PASTA

Pasta an evening snack, which is originated from ITALY, this is generally made up of wheat and grain flour and then further formed for cut into sheets or other shapes. It is usually boiled and then fried. Pasta is a staple food of ITALY and a ITALIAN CUISINE. Pasta are of two types-

  1. Dried pasta
  2. Fresh pasta

Dried pasta are very easily found and also very easily prepared at home, whereas fresh pasta is generally handmade or sometimes machine made. Fresh pasta is available in grocery stores and also produced at a very large scale.

In INDIA , as a cuisine we use both the categories of pasta- dried and fresh one. Pasta as a meal is very beneficial as it provides glucose, crucial fuel for brain and muscles. It is also cholesterol free and contains low sodium.

INGREDIENTS

  1. 2 CUP PASTA
  2. 2 TBSP OLIVE OIL
  3. 1/2 TSPN JEERA POWDER
  4. GARLIC CHOPPED (1-2)
  5. 1/3 TSPN SALT
  6. 1/2 TSPN RED CHILLI POWDER
  7. 1-2 PACKET PASTA MASALA
  8. 2 TBSP CREAM (OPTIONAL)

VEGETABLES-

  1. 1-2 LARGE CHOPPED ONION
  2. 1-2 CUP CHOPPED TOMATO.
  3. 2 CHOPPED CARROT.
  4. 1/4 TO 1/2 CUP PEAS.
  5. 1 CUP CAPSICUM.

RECIPE-

  1. BOIL THE PASTA FOR 25-30 MINS UNTIL IT SEEMS EATABLE.
  2. ONCE THE PASTA IS BOILED, CLEAN THEM BY WASHING IT .
  3. NOW THE PASTA IS READY TO FRY.
  4. HEAT THE PAN IN MEDIUM FLAME, PUT THE OLIVE OIL IN IT AND HEAT IT.
  5. DEEP FRY THE VEGETABLE ONE BY ONE.
  6. AND ONCE ALL THE VEGETABLES ARE FRIED PUT THE PASTA ON PAN AND GIVE IT A FRY.
  7. ADD THE PASTA MASALA , SALT , PEPPER POWDER, CHILI POWDER AND TURMERIC POWDER ONE BY ONE TO THE PAN.
  8. DEEP TRY IT AND YOUR PASTA IS READY TO SERVE.

NOTE- ADDITION OF TURMERIC POWDER IS TOTALLY OPTIONAL TO THE CUISINE. YOU CAN ADD 1-2 PACKETS OF PASTA MASALA IN PLACE OF OTHER INGREDIENTS.

NACHOS

Nachos is a Mexican cuisine and was originated from northern mexico, it consist of heated tortilla chips covered with types of sauces and cheese over it, it is often served as a starter, snack or appetizer . It was created by a mexico citizen IGNACIO ANAYA. NACHOS are generally a high calories, saturated fat and sodium consisting cuisine. And as nachos are served with many other toppings it gets nutritious, tastier and even beneficial for the eater.

INGREDIENTS-

  1. MOZZARELLA CHEESE
  2. SALSA
  3. CHEDDAR CHEESE
  4. SOUR CREAM
  5. TORTILLA CHIPS
  6. TOMATO
  7. ONION
  8. GREEN CHILLIS
  9. CORIANDER LEAVES
  10. SUGAR
  11. LIME JUICE
  12. GARLIC CLOVES

RECIPE-

  1. CHOP THE INGREDIENTS FOR MAKING OF THE TOPPINGS
  2. MIX ALL THE CHOPPED VEGETABLE IN A BOWL.
  3. MIX THE INGREDIENTS WITH THE CHOPPED VEGETABLES TO MAKE SALSA MORE TASTIER.
  4. PLACE THE NACHOS ON THE BAKING TRAY AND SPREAD THE MIXED INGREDIENTS ON NACHOS AND POUR THE MOZZARELLA CHEESE AND CHEDDAR CHEESE.
  5. ASSEMBLE ALL THE INGREDIENTS CAREFULLY.
  6. PREHEAT THE OVEN GRILL.
  7. BAKE OR HEAT THE SALSA NACHOS FOR ABOUT 4-5 MINUTES UNTIL THE CHEESE MELTS OVER THE NACHOS.
  8. AND THE NACHOS ARE READY TO BE SERVED. SERVE IT WITH UR FAVORITE CREAM OR SAUCE.

WATERMELON JUICE

So, as well know in the summer season the important/ basic requirement of every person is juice or either smoothie every sip of juice comes out with a realization of freshness and happiness. Watermelon a sesonal fruits which is everyones favourite and easily available in the markets and local frut shops. Every fruit consist of many and many of benefits and so does the watermelon it also consists of many benefits like it contains nutrients and beneficial plant compounds, helps out to hydrate and also contains many compounds that prevent us from deadly disease CANCER. It is also very helpful for the HEART HEALTH patient , solves digestion problems and also very helpful for skin and hair problems. Many people don’t like to take fruits as their meal or as a complete platter so its very helpful for the ones who don’t like fruits. Juices are easy for intake of normal people and also for the patients who can’t intake solid food.

STEP2- BLEND THE WATERMELON INTO THE BLENDER ALONG-WITH THE POWDERED SUGAR AND MILK.

STEP3- ONCE THE BLENDER SOLUTION IS READY TRANSFER THE JUICE INTO A BOWL, USE THE TEA STRAINER FOR THE TRANSFER OF PURE JUICE INTO THE CONTAINER.

STEP4- NOW THE HEALTHY JUICE IS READY TO SERVE.
